So i've been out of running on and off with calf injuries the last 4-5 weeks, went for a 10mile run yesterday, was over the moon that i got through it ok and no tightness in the calf, happy days, Dublin city marathon back on track!
Felt around my calf and just below the calf muscle it's quite tender, like someone gave it a kick, not bad at all just sore to the touch. Am after looking it up online and it seems my it's an achilles tendon injury which it seems can be very serious, out of the frying pan into the fryer!!
Horrible, i don't have the time to stop training for a few weeks!! I'm hoping it's only something small that should be ok in a few days after i ice the badness out of it, we'll see..
    Thanks, just needed the rant!
