Killarney

Heading to Killarney for a few days in September and hoping to play either Kileen or Mahonys Point.

It's just myself and herself (who doesn't play) heading down so I was hoping to hire a buggy and play on a mid week morning 8am-ish.

Do you think will the course actually allow me to play on my own?

If so - will herself be allowed to come around the course with me?

If you're paying for a round of golf and hiring a buggy I'd be surprised if they didn't welcome you with open arms. The end of the main season is rapidly approaching so it should be fairly quiet on the course.

Killeen is the better course by far, and a stiffer challenge. Overall it has prettier views and greater appeal - plenty of deer around the place.

Hope she doesn't nod off at that hour of the morning

Killeen is very nice, but greens were in poor shape 2 weeks ago.

Im sure they will welcome you on your own.
