    Hi,

Can anyone advise me on a good scrapbooking book that I can buy. I need something with the basic's in it as well as some ideas on layouts.

    Cheers,
    Nov.:)

Scrapbooks can get very dated quickly and I personally think you would be better off looking at sketches online like on scrapbook.com or twopeas, they have thousands of uploads everyday and so much choice. There's no right or wrong in scrapbooking so dont worry too much about rules!

    Thanks glitter-bug,
It's really for the methods of doing things that I need it. I read about people doing different things with scrapbooking but little info on how they do it. I'm heading to a crop soon so hopefully I'll pick up a few things there and won't need a book. In saying that i like having books handy rather than having to get up and booting up th pc and searching for stuff that way.

    Cheers,
    nov.

there are magazines in Easons, Scrapbook Inspirations and Scrapbook Magazine, the former my favourite and are both UK mags, Scrapbook trends is also available and is mostly US stuff in it. You'll get loads of info in those. If you're going to a crop you will get loads of help and info. There are a few Irish websites selling scrappin stuff but you must have heard of them if you're going to a crop.
