Nintendo bolstering anti piracy stuff?

http://shoryuken.ie/?p=1537 They've hired some big wigs in aniti piracy to try and eat into European piracy; i.e. piratebay (I imagine). I didn't realise piracy was that big a deal over here, other then the little DS cards that play everything... and Turkish "game shops" :p
