Sorry for putting this thread in here but I thought it would be the best place to ask. I'm looking for fabric with Mario on it to make curtains and a duvet cover for my son, anyone any idea where i might find some. I have searched ebay and can't find anything.

    Thanks

Maybe email Nintendo EU and see if there is a licence for anyone to produce it? At least then you would know if it even exists, mind you they might think you were a crank and ignore the email:o

I would be interested in this also and have googled it, to no avail, so if you do come up with anything I would appreciate the info. Its Mario or ManU for the bedroom :D

You could try to be really artistic and actually create mario pixel by pixel (or in your case, square-of-fabric by square-of-fabric)

    Here's an example

That will be the finest thing known to man, good luck, and if you do have any luck finding the fabric PLEASE let us know.

Thanks for the help, I have sent Nintendo an E-mail so I'll let you know if I here anything back.
If I have no luck I may have to go with iron on patches, has anyone ever tried the ones that you print yourself?

Yes, I meant to mention it. I have printed and transferred and they worked very well. However I only did it on 2 t-shirts which were a bit of a joke that I gave away, so I have never washed them. I expect they might come off after a few washes. The advantage is if you are handy with photoshopping you could have the young lad's name or his picture alongside mario. Maybe try it on a pillow case first and see how it holds up in the wash.

Here's some cool stuff, nice for a bedroom or a gamesroom, whatever..

The alternative is to buy a set of the printable iron on sheets from the likes of Easons or a craft shop.
I have used them to make custom made t-shirts based on my own drawings in the past and they work pretty well.
These can be applied to any cotton item, so duvet covers and curtains should be no bother.

Although myself, I'd go for the wall transfer kit, then get coloured bed linen to key in with the wall graphics, we did that in my sons room with SpongeBob, transfers on an appropriately painted wall and similarly coloured bedlinen and curtains.

When I was younger I had this duvet cover, probably still have it actually:

I have bought duvet covers before to cut up and make into curtains for the kids, maybe OP might have a better chance of getting duvet covers rather than fabric?

Well I got a reply from Nintendo

Dear Richie, thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, Nintendo does not produce any licensed fabric designs featu
ring Mario characters, so we are unable to help you with this enquiry.

So doesn't look good, I am going to try the iron on stuff on a pillow case first and see how they turn out. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions, will let you know how it turns out.
