im moving very soon (tomorrow) to an apartment block that gets a few free to air channels, this place was only built last year so old equipment wont be an issue. theres a small box on the wall of the apartment that says chorus on it.
the small box has a screw in coaxial output on it, the same as the back of a skybox. the coaxial cable goes straight into the tv where i get e4 itv and a couple other channels now, could i bring my old skybox that i use for free to air with me and use it in the apartment?
im not sure if chorus uses a dish like sky, or even if you need a dish in my sitution so this question might be redundant, but any help would be appreciated....

If its plugged into the TV already and is working fine, whats the use of a sky box?

You could bring it with you and get a small 60cm dish for cheap and get loads more UK FTA channels
