Moderators, I realise this thread may be sailing a little close to the wind so feel free to delete it.
Does anyone know if a pyeloplasty can be done laparoscopically in Ireland and if so who's doing it? I have severe hydronephrosis caused by PUJ and on the recommendation of my urologist I need to have a pyeloplasty. I'm happy with his advice and intend to have the procedure but am just looking at all available options. I'd be most grateful if you could PM the name of the consultant who performs this procedure so I could get a second opinion. My urologist only does it as an open procedure and I have no qualms about having it done but the longer recovery time plus my 4 children are a bit at odds!;)
