I've built up a lot of mp3s over the years and have them well organised and sorted. - Happy Out :D

when people with itunes try to share their music with me i get a bunch of randomly named folders with randomly grouped songs in side them, completly useless!

if i import my music into i tunes, will it do this to my music collection?
if i download cover art for my music, will it do this to my music collection?
if i want my files copied directly to my ipod touch in mp3 format without using itunes how can i do this?

    thanks.

iTunes arranges your music in folders according to artist and album, so I'm not sure where the randomness comes in. As long as your mp3's have the correct id3 tags it'll sort them correctly. Adding artwork to your albums won't change the order in which they are displayed, or added to your device.
