    hey all.

Does any one know much about alcohol licences?

Im not looking for an offlicence, or a fully fledged bar,
just a café/bar with a minimal amount of alcohol available..

For instance, 3-4 taps and 3-4 types of wine.

    any ideas how to apply?
    how much it will cost?

just looking to be pointed in the right direction.

    cheers.

It seems there are lots of regulations over this licence, appears you have to serve food etc etc... however I'm not planning on selling fully fledged meals, just little treats and so forth...

anyway, I found this on another forum:

If you want to serve intoxicating liquor, you will need a "Special Restaurant License" which costs about, if I was not mistaken €3200 on first application then €250 on yearly renewal. The serving/consumption of liquor must form part of the meal service.
