Play.com Problem

    Sorry if this is in the wrong place, please move were appropriate.

    I recently signed up to Play.com and ordered 2 CD's and a book. No electronics.

    My order has been declined a few times for invalid card details. I got this email everytime i tried to "fix" my details :
    Thank you for your recent order with Play.com

    At this time we are unable to process your order as your credit/debit card
    details do not match the details held by your card issuer.

    To proceed with your order please check and amend the following:

    Card number
    Expiry date
    Valid from date
    Issue number
    CV2 (3 digit code on the signature line of your credit card)

    For PlayTrade item(s) your order could not be reserved and has been
    cancelled. If you would still like to purchase this item please resubmit
    your order following any amendments you have made.

    For Play.com item(s) it is not necessary to re-submit your order. Your
    outstanding item(s) will be shipped as soon as we can process the payment.

    If you have any difficulties please contact our Customer Service Team on
    0845 800 1020 (UK only) or +44 (0)1534 877 595 (outside UK). Our opening
    hours are 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday.

    I've checked all them things and they are the same as my card:confused::confused:

    Card number : same as card
    Expiry date : same as card
    Valid from date : same as card
    Issue number : Dont have one so left it as 0
    CV2 (3 digit code on the signature line of your credit card) : same as card


    The billing name is the same as my bank statement and my card.
    The billing address is the same as my bank statement.

    I do have money in my account.

    Any advice??

    Ring the bank and see if they can tell you why it's being declined. After that, only Play will be able to tell you what's happening.

    Out of curiosity - were you buying from Play.com themselves , or a Play Trade listing ?

    Issue Number should be left blank.
