2 Tickets to Okkervil River in Galway

    I have a two tickets to US Indie band Okkervil River in Roisin Dubh on the 7th of Sept. Unfortunately I can't make the gig, so if anybody living in Galway would like these tickets for free, you're welcome to them.

    I've seen them before - and they are great live.

    Selling or buying tickets like this on the forum is against the rules. www.toutless.com is a good site for buying / selling tickets at face value.

    I would like to thank you however as I had no idea they were playing in Ireland except for EP. Great venue as well. Last time I saw them was the Academy and it was terrible (the venue that is, Okk were great). Time to book tickets!

    Roisin Dubh is an awful venue, being better than the Academy doesn't automatically make a place a great venue.

    Anyhow, looking forward to the gig, should be epic.

    He is neither selling or buing tickets so so his post is grand. I will move it to Gigs/Events though.

    Just to let everyone know - tickets are gone to Pacifico.

    Saw Okkervil River last year in the Academy Dublin (downstairs). Terrible venue, tiny stage squashed, loud noise from the bar. The band did their best but you could almost feel their frustration. I've read loads of review about how good they are live, so I imagine this gig will better.
