cable lenght from Dreambox to dish

    Hi, I have a long cable lenght from my satellite dish to my receiver ( DM600 - clone). Could this be the problem why I am not able to view Digital Plus? My motor works with 28.2E and 19.2E. Half the channel have no signal? Would a cable signal booster help? maplin have them but are 20EURO for a piece of metal worth 3 EURO.

    How long is long?

    How are your signals when the receiver is beside the dish?
