I've noticed a weird new phenomenon in the last year, but it's beginning to develop a momentum of it's own now - lots of middle aged guys walking around with much younger Asian wives/girlfriends. Anybody else notice this?

My question is where the hell did they buy them? God knows what kind of contract the women have to fufill. Can I import them myself to sell here? Is there VRT* to pay on them?

you can actually go to a place in thailand where you can buy a young thai virgin, the same as buying cattle in a mart

i know a few fellas from mayo who done this already, and they cant leave you because you own them,

i would say you could nearly get tax depreciation ,or a subsidy on them if you tried

Snap OP - Saw a couple like this in city centre Dublin yesterday. Out of shape unkempt Irish guy late 40s/early 50s with a much better looking Asian woman about 20 years younger.

Reminded me of a conversation/monologue I had with a taxi driver one night last year who was insistent on providing all the details about his upcoming month-long trip to Thailand to meet his girlfriend. Charming conversational skills my Taxi Driver.

Are they really always so much younger? Asian women often look much younger then they are.

I am married to an Asian woman, and she certainly looks much younger then me (mid 30s myself), but in fact she is only one year younger then me. Nobody who meets her the first time believes that she is mid 30 as well. Most guesses range from 19 to 22 (if she is lucky).

Doesn't really bother us. Although I admit that I sometimes can't hide a smile when I see some of the abolsute obvious cases somewhere around dublin (50 year old guy with beer gut walking hand in hand with a 20 year old who looks as if she just came from a night shift on Sukhumvit road in BKK).
