i am using sharewatch purely on cost grounds, they used to be terrible but they have updated their trading platform recently and so far it seems to be going quite well

I'm using Goodbody purely out of convenience, I will have to shop around though for a broker with more competitive charges and fees.

    TD Ameritrade.

Why? 9.99 USD per trade, no other fees.

In process of signing up with ODL heard they were good on AAM.

I was with AIB (goodbody) I think it was €35 for a NYSE trade, I made over 100 trades in a 1 month period, When i totted up the charges I went shopping. I went with Firstrade because of web reviews, I have found them to be good. The platform is not the best but it is ok. 3 second executions are cool.. Oh and the main thing 100 free trades and $6.95 after that about 5 euro..

I trade online with Renaissance Financial Markets (www.rfm.ie).
    - 10bps (a tenth of a percent) to trade CFDs and stock like Bank of Ireland .2c per share to trade American names like Google. No commission on index trades like DOW or FTSE
    - Huge range of trading products and markets
    - Trading platform is probably one of the best around.

+1, left Sharewatch for NIB, much happier with them

I use Goodbody because it's linked with my AIB on line banking.

I only trade on the US markets and average commission on $10k trade is $4.00. This that's self explanitory!

i use capital spreads (tight spreads) and ig index (wide range of markets but not so tight spreads). i've used internaxx in the past but found them expensive - they for instance charge .15% on cfd trades (most charge .10%) and their stock market dealing fees start at GBP15 (with frequent trader!) - when i questioned their fees they retorted that in compensation I get privacy with them. PRIVACY i say? what privacy - privacy the sort of swiss UBS
