Ok i have been buying stuff on ebay for years now.

Id like to venture into selling stuff on ebay but id like to be aware of all the costs involved.

These include ebay costs for buy it now and auction prices that both vary in price and start at 1c.

Paypal prices for example if the item cost 10e

And postage prices for say a xbox 360 game.In relation to posting dvd box sizes would it have to be registered or is their cheaper ways to post them.Is their any way to calculate postage for heavier items instead of ringing them

Treat the questions like im a pure idiot,so that i can get to understand the full ends and out of selling items.i know some of ye are gonna say try adverts as well.Well i have but not everything i have would be popular on adverts so ebay is a better medium to sell stuff on.

Thanks in advance for your help.

At the risk of seeming rude, you are asking others to do all your work for you. All the info you require is on eBay or with An Post and you you just have to take the plunge and start selling. I have been buying/selling on eBay for years and it is just like breathing - very easy - but Ebay cost structures are something that you will have to experiment with for yourself. :)

All the information on costs is on Paypal and eBay's help pages. You can find postage charges on An Post's site.
