    Hi lads,
doing the SK 100km in the morning and just finished cleaning up the bike. However, one of the outer chain ring bolts snapped after putting back on the chain ring so I will be cycling with 4 bolts instead of 5. Is this ok to do until Monday when I get it fixed.

Don't use it like that. I lost a bolt in a ride without knowing:

Then at one point when i got out of the saddle it warped, folded and snapped. The next 90 degrees of rotation by the snapped blade (while I'm thrown against the handlebar) left a almighty scratch on the frame.

Use different short bolt with washers for the day if you can find one.

    Or borrow a bike
