    "Heir"?

That about expresses my opinion on the matter. I'm fed up to here with political dynasties, or whatever the hell the term is.

Ah calm down just at the funeral he was talking about his old man and he seems to have the same touch as him?

Ted Sr. screwed that up. He had the law changed so there would be a run off in case of a vacant MA senate seat instead of being appointed by the Gov [there was a Rep Gov at the time] and just recently he tried to change the law back to the way it originally was [now that there is a Dem Gov] So now if Jr wants his Dad's seat he going to have to get it the old fashioned way. Earn It. Though somehow I wouldn't be surprised if there is any schenanigans and Jr gets the seat without a run off.

Regardless if it's a Kennedy or not it will be a Democrat that will fill the seat.

Considering the current lack of confidence in the Obama administration don't be surprised if you see a Rep fill the seat.

Considering one has to go back 40 years to see a Republican see one of those seats I really doubt it but one is allowed to dream I suppose.:pac:

Considering the current approval ratings of Congress and the Obama Adminstration its not out of the question.
