Car for Cash.....Merlin Motors

    Hi All,

    my OH is thinking of selling this car.... with the merlin motors cars for cash..... has anyone any experience with this? do they give a reasonable price?

    They will more than likely offer well below the trade value for it.

    They are a car auction company. Basically if they agree to buy your car for cash, they will be paying a price that they know they will beat at auction so you can assume it will be a poor price. Better send the car through the auction yourself. To be honest, if it is a nice clean car, it could well go for a reasonable price at auction with the large number of private buyers going to auction lately

    never go to right price cars, this dealer is a complete shame!!!!, I bought a car with one key and no patrol as they usually do, after two days it wont's start, called AA and was told its a sensor then towed away to their garage in Sword, from 12/06/2010 till now ( 04/07/2010) I am still waiting for the car, they have no resepect to customers ( verbally abusive) and I am taking legal action against them.......Just do not like any one else to have the same experience.....was shoked by the way they treated me, and when I rang SIMI they said they are not a member despite the fact that they have big sign for SIMI on their website....
