    Hi Al

I am trying to connect my 3GS to my Macbook.

They find each other and are paired, but when I try to connect it does for a second and then looses the connection

Is it possible to do this or is the iphone not capable.

Normally connect via USB but was just trying this out.

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

Assuming Bluetooth is enabled in both and tethering is activated.

On your macbook click the bluetooth icon to the left of time on your menubar. Scroll down to your iPhone and select "Connect to Network". Tethering wont work until you select this.

You can also Connect to Network through SYSTEM PREFERENCES > BLUETOOTH by selecting your iPhone and clicking the Perform tasks icon next to +-

    Hope this helps
