Hi Guys, I have a big fear of flying but when i see repairs like this it makes me even more nervous http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6647499&nseq=5 if you look at the back "flap:o" you can see it has been repaired, would this work have been carried out in Dublin or by Airbus ??

If there where anything wrong with that a/c we would have know about it by now.Altho the fittings around the elevators could look a bit cleaner.

Here's a few northwest 330's http://www.airliners.net/photo/Northwest-Airlines/Airbus-A330-223/1568193/L/&sid=8726d889d30f10ea137a8f79c080ab57 ,Im not sure as to why this area is not painted,i'll hazard a guess that its maybe reinforced structure due to the horizontal stab on them having fuel tanks.

To be honest it just looks like thats the way the paintjob is.

EI-JFK is no longer operating for EI, it was returned early.

But EI-DUB is and has been flying for EI since 1994!! Oooh!

What do you think that means? Absolutly nothing! The safety checks for all aircraft are really strict, sure accidents happen but I wouldnt be too worried about something not getting painted after a repair job.

How long did EI have -DUZ before it went tech? A week?
