    I was a class rep in first year for a small Italian class, no one wanted to do it so I volunteered! Don't remember doing a whole lot tbh, but for bigger classes and stuff, you liaise between lecturers and students, bringing to the lecturers' attention any problems the class as a whole has, etc.
