    Cheap shorts + Underpants?
    Quality shorts + commando?

Have tried all variations but the gronnix consistently says 'No!'. Any recommendations for a good saddle?

Quality shorts plus no underwear plus quality saddle

Get a good chamois cream. Once you go commando there's no going back, nice and comfy.

a good quality chamaois and go commando. If your not with a club buy pro team replica stuff as they tend to be the cheapest and best. If you got a high budget try assos stuff.

As the others said, commando is the way you're meant to go. Wearning underwear beneath your shorts will just lead to chafing.

As for saddles, I'm afraid it depends on the rider. One man's ass hatchet can be another man's lazyboy on wheels. Trial and error is usually the way you find your ideal saddle.

Forgive my ignorance but what do I ask for, 'pro team replica stuff for my chaffed groin' or what?

I buy from Prendas. Delivery is quick. They have a good selection but usually do not have all the sizes, often only small and XXL left in stock.

See the Categories list on the left to find the full lists.

I like the Italian Santini brand, but Assos are probably best and most expensive (Prendas don't stock Assos).
