custom fitting

    Hi guys, I'm looking to get custom fitted for irons and a new driver. Like most golfers i've been playing with clubs that dont suit me and while it's not the cause of my problems, i'm sure it doesn't help! I'm hoping to go somewhere with the best technology and am prepared to spend whatever is necessary now to hopefully save money in the long run. There is custom fitting facilities in most golf shops but i'm looking for somewhere with a huge variety of clubs and shafts etc where i can have a look at the ball flight.

    I'm trying hard to get my perfect set-up so any help much appreciated.

    my dad recently bought a new set of Cobras from Focus Golf in Newbridge. The guy there Ciaran, spent a good amount of time getting the config right for him; big grips, adjusted loft etc. The old man loves the new clubs and raves about the service he got. The shop number is 045 436 130.

    No connection to shop just a happy customer.

    I was recently in Birr Golf Shop beside the golf club in Birr,Offaly. A friend of mine told me he had went from Dublin to it and I followed his advice to book a session with the Paul the pro down there. They have the trackman system which by all acounts is the bees knees for getting custom fitted.

    I have to say their service was first rate and the clubs I got where very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a shout if you are serious about your golf.
