I know this topic is doing the rounds on other sites and I am involved in same. I just thought that I would post it here also.

The National Retained Firefighters Association, a SIPTU committee are saying that "industrial action imminent"

My reason for posting? How would other Emergency Services view this? Is it close in your organisation (AGS have their own method of dealing with this). Could the army cope if the industrial action lead to a full blown strike?
