Need help with a wordpress blog

I put up a wordpress blog yesterday and am struggling figuring out the layout stuff. Maybe someone can have a look and advise? I installed this template which as you can see from the page has a nice third column with a space for a picture etc in the demo image. Problem I cant figure out how to use the third column? I'm new…

Problem I cant figure out how to use the third column?
I'm new to wordpress and am struggling figuring out all the bits and pieces.
If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
