Injury at a venue

Hypothetical scenario: X is at a show in a small venue that has a bar on premises. Drinks are allowed to be brought into the stage area. Plastic cups are thrown on the floor. Lots of security guards around.

X slips on a spilled drink beside the mixing desk. X can't get up or move and is in pain. They get carried to the medical bay by members of the crowd. Tells medics they've had a good few pints, no drugs. X ends up going to hospital in an ambulance and discovers that they have broken their leg in two places.

X misses the entire show. X's family denied entry to hospital that night because of swine flu. X is without a bed in a ward for 15 hours and needs an operation the following day. The venue rings X in the hospital but phone battery dies.

Question: What should X do next? Is X entitled to make a claim?

    Thanks

X should see a personal injury solicitor for further advice.
