Broken PS3

    Hi,
I got a PS3 for Chrimbo last year and just recently it's after breaking. Don't know exactly why but when I power it up I don't get any display on the screen.

All the lights light up and the controllers are picked up when you press the button so it seems to be something wrong with the video card in it.

I've tried factory reset aswell as both hdmi and component but no joy.

I've lost the reciept so I'm just wondering if there's anything Sony would do to cover it using the serial no. or something as a reference?

    Thanks

Yeah pretty sure, I'll give it another go tonight.

Press the power button on and keep it held till it beeps twice yeah?

Have you tried various different types of leads. The one that came with the PS3 or an HDMI?

Going to make things difficult without receipt. However, if you paid by card [visa / laser / etc] the retailer in question MAY have record of this. This will facilitate proof of purchase.
