If you are buying a bike, at least visit these guys. Was shopping for a Dutch Style bike for my missus and went to a few places where I was searching the store for assitance or met with people who couldn't answer any questions i asked. There where a few specifics q's i had in relation to attaching a child seat and safety which couldn't be answered.

Went to Duff's, greeted by a really nice guy who was knowledgeable on all thier products, safety features, recommendations etc. After my description, he pulled out the bike i had in my mind, threw in a few extras and hooked me up with a discount.

Not only that, the store was closing at 8 and he happily stayed back until about 8.20ish to finish up our order and to ensure it would be ready for collection today.

But, i was not the only other smiling customer in the shop, there where others there too that what being looked after and i could tell that they where also really happy with the customer service.......compared to another place that will remain nameless where a customer was waiting for about 15 minutes to speak to a manager and looked something like this ->

I wouldnt recommend going to duff cycles at all. Ive been left waiting in there while an employee was standing there scratching his hole and when he did help stopped mid conversation to have a personal chat with another lad from the shop. They are one of the dearest around too and their repairs are well over priced. If your happy going there thats great but im avoiding them like the plague

Agree with second post - over priced, and arrogant.

In the interest of balance I've been in here loads and they're all very friendly to deal with. They've looked after me both price and service-wise a few times. Haven't found them to be even remotely arrogant.

    Zombie thread surely..?

I've been back a few times since, bought a bike for myself and a few other bits and bobs.

But, there were some times when I was left standing waiting for the staff to quit yapping.

But i'll still return there as when you do have someones attention, they know thier stuff and give you answers.
