    Twice.

Three years is coming up in December, so if it's going to crap out again, I hope it's soon.

Never had the RROD. And I've had 2 consoles, traded in my old 20gb when there was a great trade in offer against the 60gb. I also put a tonne of hours into it.

    It's your 360 overheating.

I think it's something to do with the console over heating causing the circuit board to expand and the solder joints to crack.

Just waiting for my console back from repair. Thank feic they extended the warranty for the 3 red rings to 3 years. Another two months and I'd have been forking out the dough for it to be fixed.

    Bacon rinds of death?

Yep, got them and had a fantastically quick RMA experience with MS as soon as I got my finger out and applied to get it repaired... Had my 360 back to me within the week

I got my 360 in April last year, not a problem since I bought it, even with my tendancy to fall asleep and leave it on all night and also my inexplicable inability to stop leaving stuff on it blocking fans etc. We also have one in work that is literally on 24/7 and hasn't had a single problem. The RROD just comes down to bad luck most of the time methinks!
