can you defer a fetac course?

    had my interview for a fetac course today(went o.k).
    just wondering (if i am offered the course) could i defer it?, as it looks like i will not be able to afford to go to college this year..
    thanks for input/advice etc..

    Check with your college but probably not as most Colleges of FE do not offer this facility and do bear in mind that you be getting your application in for next year around Jan 2010
