Everywhere is dropping the price, or should be because microsoft have to compete with the new ps3 slim and the price drop of the original PS3.... Crimbo deals soon to come :D :P

Do xtravision do trade-ins on old consoles?

No, only game and gamestop do it.

Darn it. Gamestop offered €80 for my old 20gb pro, was hoping theyed do something similar. So is there going to be an "old" and "new" elite? The new one doesn't come with a HDMI cable, right?

Yes but there's probably less chance of it failing if you buy a newer model.

HMV have the Elite plus Batman Arkham Asylum for €250, best price I could find.
Most UK retailers will not ship consoles here.

Cheers - Any idea if Game or Gamestop are competing with this? Even going beyond €250 to include additional (older) titles or the like?

Please note that a 250GB Elite is probably on the way soon

Great game, and the HMV bundle price is pretty good too.

Checked out Game. They have console for €250 stand alone. €275 with batman (not as good as HMV so). Or €275 with 3 games out of Tiger 10, Fight Night 4, GoW 2 & CoD4 MW. That's not bad 3 decents titles for €25 or you can pay €299 and get all 4.

Xtragame (in the square) has xbox 360 elite - 2 wireless pads - 2 play and charge - ANY game (except guitar hero 5) for €234.97

    Great price in my opinion.

hmm the price is certainly tempting.

but the multiplayer tax and the jet engine noise is still telling me to say no.

No jet engine noise if you install your games to that ample 120gb HDD. No such fixes for the cheeky Live sub, though.

How do you go about installing games? Like GOW2 for example?
