Whats the value of a 01 vw sdi golf, no nct, no alloys/modifications- running perfectly? 104,000 miles

I'd say 1500 with an nct, without an NCT in this market, forget it. Woeful engines!

golfs are one of the dearest cars to buy in the 3-6 y/o bracket

Ya but still, an sdi without an NCT, you would want to be mad to buy one. Seriously, its a struggle to get them past 55mph! Terrible, terrible engines. Really heavy on juice too because you end up flooring the thing everywhere.

I sold it for 2100,do ye think I done ok? it wouldnt have needed much work to pass the NCT but happy to get rid of it to be honest..

I've the SDI Golf and it gets past 55 just fine.... Will sit at 120km smooth as anything... Granted it takes a while to get there but once there its just fine.

I had the Bora onbe before and without doubt one of the most reliable and economical cars I've had. Burned a drop of oil but once you checked it regularly, it was fine. And no problems going beyond 55 mph! Would cruise quite happily at 75-80 mph on the mway

Not surprising really, alot of people out there are quite happy to pay over the odds for Golfs. Don't see the sense in it myself but a seller won't be complaining.

RECKON U DID VERY WELL TO GET OVER 2000. NER IMPOSSIBLE TO SELL ANYTHING WITHOUT AN NCT. RECKON THE BUYER WASN'T TO UP TO SPEED WITH SDI -V- TDI AND RECKONED OH LOOK A CHEAP GOLF
