guitarist/singer needed in Limerick

27-08-2009 6:01pm#1My friend and I have been writing songs for about a year now. I am a synth/piano player and he is a singer/guitarist/bass player/drummer. But if we have found another guitarist/singer he will go to drums.
What we are looking for is a strong enough singer but adequate guitar abilities. You know good enough. It also helpes if you yourself can write songs and are open-minded.
we are more than willing to try any style the singer wishes and is most comfortable with, anything From hard rock to pop. Can be male or female doesn't matter.
We have good experience gigging and good enough with songwriting but we're always looking for that edge. At the end of the day gigging in our goal.
We're constantly looking to be different and original. Hopefully someone can help us.

ps. if you're a drummer and can sing thats cool too. Our current guitarist is very good but unconfident in this singing ability.0

Whats up guys,id be interested in going for a jam if you havent already found someone.im 19 but have been gigging since i was 14.play guitar/sing/write songs.With the current band im in weve gigged all round ireland,had our songs played on spin sw and live 95fm,alan jacques described a song of mine "reminded of the early cure",which is the best review i could wish for with the cure being one oy biggest influences,looking to move on from the current band due to commitment issues from other members,,,jus wanna play music :L i have all my own gear and a p.a,demo recording equipment,influences are tthe cure,jimmy eat world,ramones,rancid,early green day,gaslight anthem,springsteen,sum41 being from limerick,giveamanakick
