Film I don't know the name of

    Ok, I'll try and be as detailed as possible:

    It's a black and white movie set on an island. There are 7 people on the island (i think they were given a free holiday, but they definately don't live there, they were brought there for some reason).

    After a while, people start getting killed: one by one. They have no contact with the outside world (cus its an old film).They all decide that there should be 2 people together at all times for protection (if one of them dies, then they all know the other person is the killer).

    One of the men (who turns out to be the killer in the end) decides to make a deal with one of the people who is a doctor (I remember the deal was struck over a game of pool/billiards/snooker. The killer pretends to be shot, while the doctor pretends to pronounce him dead.

    In the end, there are 2 people left, a man and a woman (plus the guy they think is dead). They go to the beach for some standoff. A shot is heard, and one of them comes back to the house (can't remember which one). They see the guy sitting down, with a noose hanging down from the ceiling. He explains to them that he brought them all to the island cus they all had done something bad in their life. He takes some pills then (that'll kill him). He tells the person that they are better off hanging themselves, as they will go to prison once they police find out they are the only one left alive. I think he was dying anyway so that's why he did this scheme.

    Anyways, the other person walks in, cus it turns out they didn't kill each other on the beach. the killer is really shocked, as his plan all along was for the last two people to suspect each other and kill the other one. The killer dies of the tablets he took.

    I tried to be as detailed as I could so someone might be able to remember it. Its been annoying me for quite a while, so I hope someone here might be able to help.
