    Rumour has it through Tripavisor
For all us addicts, there is now a smoking area at Dublin airport after the security area. Turn right after security and head for Pier D and you will come across a new shopping area. Take the lift/stairs there up to Burger King and there it is opposite, called The Garden Terrace Bar. I'd say they could charge €7 for a pint and still do business

Anymore information regarding this. Hopefully it is true.

Surely it flies in the face of the 'enclosed workplace smoking ban', unless it's on the roof

If it's true I wished I had know about it in June when I went on my Holidays and was in the Airport for 3 hours without a ciggy!

Nope, check out Amsterdam schipol airport. It a little greenhouse indoors with an extractor fan leading to the roof.

Terraces are usually outside. Outside isn't enclosed.

Whilst I haven't seen it myself yet, a colleague informed me earlier this week he had seen the new smoking area air-side. I believe it is an outdoor area so most likely a roof or balcony.

It was down towards the International gates, and/or the gate Singapore Airlines use.

Gate 57 direction. Its a long walk from the Aer Lingus gate put it that way. When you walk down the long tube like corridor you end up by the Singapore jetways. There is a little shop kiosk to your right and to your left is "TA DA" a little smoking box.

The smell is absolutely awful inside there so expect stinky clothes.

Was not open then. Was not open 3 weeks ago. Am travelling though that way tomorrow so will have a look to see if the new bar with the outside bit is open.

In repsonse to a question asked to me about the location of the smoking area in Amsterdam Schipol Airport not in relation to Dublin
