Hi, Has anyone got a Giant Defy 2, if so what do you think of it? I'm looking to buy a new bike for weekend training (40-50 mile spins) and am thinking about getting a Defy.

Thumbs up for the Defy 3 here, http://www.bicycling.com/gear/detail/0,7989,s1-16-95-2137-0,00.html

So the Defy 2 will be the same but with a slightly better spec.

Many of my club (myself included) have had the Defy/SCR/OCR range of bikes in that (or there abouts) specification.

They're good, reliable and relatively lightweight from our experience and would do absolutely spot on for 50-60 mile spins and even longer if you want to in time do things like the longer sportives that are run during the year.

I've got the Defy 2.5 and find it a great bike TBH.
The Defy 2 has a slightly better spec, fully tiagra, crankset etc.
