Two women have died after a stolen car crashed into their vehicle in Bradford.

The women, both 48 and from Bradford, were in a Ford Fiesta which was hit by a Mercedes CLK 200 at Apperley Bridge late on Wednesday night.

Five people in the Mercedes - two men aged 22, two girls aged 15 and a 19-year-old woman - were injured and were being treated in hospital.

Probably should just be taken outside and shot.

    Really? How?
You have no idea of the dynamics of the crash - would you like to partake of an experiment where you sit in a stationary Merc and we'll get 5 scumbags in a stolen Fiesta to smash broadside into your Merc at 70mph...?

The CLK would provide a hell of a lot more protection than the Fiesta.

    No. Nor drive one.
Just pointing out the misconception resulting from your incorrect reasoning.

I saw another ad which clearly showed that women texters cause road accidents. In that advert, it women caused 100% of the injuries / deaths sustained.

As queried above, did it say who was the driver?

Because 22 year old scummy guys are unlikely let to 19 or 15 year old girls drive a stolen CLK car?

safe assumption but hardly proof at this stage

its that assumption that leads to things like this "he drives, she dies" campaign

That's not a discussion, it's in ranting and raving. I posted a reply on it which was the other side of the spectrum of view but not as bad as the OP but it was deleted:(

There's been 2/3 in AH, I started a similar one in LL (not about the ad as much as about the peoples attitudes towards it and towards women drivers) and the there was either one or two in motors, haven't been in there much in ages so I'm not sure.

I don't remember seeing that one I remember this one
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055617730&highlight=drives+dies
the replies from some worried me, they used it as an excuse to criticise women drivers. (which is why I started the tread in LL.

But anyway this is getting too civilised for a thread in after hours on scumbags, stealing and killing someone. Anyone care to bring this thread back down to the level it belongs?
