Garda districts

Is there anywhere I can find a map of Garda districts in Dublin? I ask because I'll be moving in the next few months and I need to know my local station for firearms licensing purposes.

Out in the country it's usually a bit more obvious since it's usually the nearest, but in Dublin it can be a little trickier. For example, right now my nearest station is 5-10 mins walk away but my "local" station is 10-15 mins walk away.

Not really. I know where the stations are, just not which areas they cover. The new place could be under the Bridewell, Store St or if the layout is odd, Fitzgibbon St. Also, that list doesn't include the one on O'Connell St. Does that count as a real station?

It's almost certainly DMR North Central unless someone's playing silly buggers.

    Whats your new address??

Somebody here will tell you in a flash what your local station is.

Em, I'd rather not be that specific since a) there'll be a firearm on the premises and b) there are a lot of weirdos on the internet. :)

If there isn't a map, I guess I'm better off asking a Garda on the street near the new place. I'm just a bit lazy and there's a conspicuous lack of Gardai in my living room at 1am. :D

Ring any station within an asses roar, at about 1.55pm, and tell them there's a traffic accident at your new address. They'll tell you pretty quickly which sub-district you live in!

Would it not be easier to make it 6:05AM and to ring saying your giving away free doughnuts to your local station :pac:

Nah, you'd have cops from all over claiming it was their area then.
