Can you get copies of files presented in court

    Is it possible for the general public to get copies of files that are presented in court (the High Court). Am I right in thinking that they are public record? (Or did I just make that up???).

    No papers filed in the Central Office are private and only the parties or their legal representitives are permitted to take up copies.
