How come Channel 5 is not on Skybox FTA EPG?

I presume this is not a problem for all receivers but in FTA mode my SKY box only has 5 on Other Channels which while not a big deal (little worth watching) is odd. Anyone know why this is the case.

The channel 5 used on the Sky platform is encrypted. The FTA version on satellite is currently meant for Freesat only. It is just fortunate for FTA viewers (and Irish viewers) that Freesat is using the same satellites as Sky Digital. It took Channel 4 a while to appear on the default EPG also.

    To be pedantic ...

There are 4 versions of Channel Five on satellite, which are identical except for adverts.

    Region 1: London
Region 2: South, Midlands, & East of England plus Wales and Northern Ireland
    Region 3: North
    Region 4: Scotland

If you have a Fresat from Sky card or ex subscription Sky card for Region 2, you should get Five in the clear on 105.
