    firstly not sure if this belongs here but ill take a chance :
    Article in todays irish independant in relation to Richie O Conner formerly Killlaly O Conner just so you know a Mr delaney has placed a picket outside his house looking for his investment of 100k back .It was given to these gangsters last year as an investment into a property deal in kildare on the understanding that , he would get 150k back on 30th Aug 09 plus a share of the development .
    Whats wrong with this i hear you ask well i find the whole thing repulsive and sickining for a couple of reasons the first one ;
    this man Mr Delaney gave this sum as an investment based on the promise of greatness ie there was no planning permission no written contracts etc etc but he could not see past his nose and greed led him to where he is today no sympathy for him its the very same as doing the lotto and not winning then asking for your money back .
    Secondly and more importantly O Conner and his cronie Killaly went to the wall for near 20 million some say more ,so NAMA will prob clean up thier mess aswell and we will pay for it for generations , but what sickens my stomach is the fact that this c..t has the nerve to go back teaching and the state will pay him for it plus when he retires he will get his lump sum and pension off the state, a state he and more like him helped screw up .He had no intrest in teaching when he was swindling millions from land owners and silly investors and nor should he have any business now.
    Not the type of yoke id want teaching my kids i assure you ,i feel sorry for the unemployed teachers out there who may have just qualified or been let off due to"cut backs" and see him return only in this place would it happen

    Well, you could start with punctuation and spelling.

    Unaware that there is a rule concerning punctation and spelling ,obviously another disgruntled civil servant lol .

    Kinda helps if other people are reading and are able to understand what the fcuk your point is. No need to be so defensive.

    Whoa! The OP post was fairly coherent. Stop being an arse over punctuation/spelling.

    OP - I feel your pain. I'm just glad I don't live in the country anymore with all the blatant greed in property deals. The thought of buying property in Ireland is grossly off-putting.

    hi yes hands up, I was been defensive apolologies to all concerned .My point was that i thought it very unfair that such a man could return to a teaching post,after all that he done ,and not exactly a role model for pupils .That was it so once again sorry .

    Just read the article. Must say I find it hard to get worked up over it. Guy A gives Guy B €100k on the promise of 50% ROI in 1 year. Instead Guy B goes bust. If anyone believes that you get a 50% ROI without taking on some huge risks is either naive or stupid. Still I do feel sorry for Guy A.
