    To offer no resistance to life is to be in a state of grace, ease and lightness.

    This state is then no longer dependent upon things being a certain way, good or bad.

    It seems almost paradoxical,yet when your inner dependance on form is gone, the general conditions of your life, the outer forms, tend to improve greatly.

    I don't think he meant someone is trying to start a fight with you and you don't resist. He means you don't have any anxiety about the world around you being a particular way. Whatever good xhit or bad xhit happens to you - whatever will be will be. We're going to Italy.

    Heres the rest of it;
    Things, people, or conditions that you thought you needed for your happiness now come to you with no struggle or effort on your part, and you are free to enjoy and appreciate them - while they last. All those things, of course, will still pass away, cycles will come and go, but with dependency gone there is no fear of loss anymore. Life flows with ease.

    But more importantly, wtf?!

    If the situation requires you to punch someone's lights out, you puch their lights out. If you are dying of a terminal disease, you accept the isness of the situation. You accept the isness of the moment all the time. Non resistance to life isn't spineless, it's strength. You accept the moment as it is instead of internally resisting it, a weight will come off your shoulders and you will feel peaceful. You take action in the moment as required.

    Maybe your just stubborn in some aspect of your life,I don't think it applies to every aspect of life.
