Hi guys i have a few shares to sell that i got a few years ago, my question is do I just go into a bank and ask to sell them? How much commission will they charge and how long will it take to get my cash? Which is the best Bank with the lowest commission to sell.

I went into AIB today and they told me it was 100 euro flat fee to sell my shares:eek:, is this right? i mean my shares are only worth around 800, so im dammed if im gonna give AIB 100 of this, this sounds like a rip off to me, is there anywhere else i can sell my shares? All the other banks dont let you sell shares anymore.

Thanks very much, AIB bank seemed to be the only place on the main street that allowed you to sell shares all the other banks dont do it anymore.
