    Hello all

    The lovely people over at Elemental Pictures were in touch about their new theatrical release

    The Yellow Bittern - the life and times of Liam Clancy.

    It's basically the story of the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem and their rise to fame with an emphasis on Liam and some of the troubles in his personal life during all this outward success.

    Trailer here:

    They're having a Gala screening of the film followed by a celebration with Liam and his friends on September 2nd.

    The screening is in the Light House Cinema and the party will be at a venue nearby.

    We have 2 pairs of tickets to give away :)

    The Facebook group is here with more info on the film.

    What you have to do to win the tickets is just leave a reply and let me know you can go! Winners will be picked at random :)

    Just FYI, how I picked the winners?

    Counted out the comments between 1 and 43

    Asked Ross and Dav to each pick a number between 1 and 43

    Added the two together and divided by two.

    Did that twice :)

    Unless they both chose the number one.

    Which is unlikely unless they were both asked seperately.

    Darragh, what did you do if the number when divided by 2 was something .5?
    Did you round up or down?

    It would be completely fair to all if you generated a random number between 1 and whatever using a simple spreadsheet function. By definition, everyone would have an equal chance. I don't think this was the case with the method you used as previous poster indicated.
