    Things have been going along rather well in Solas on Thursday nights. With 2 great International guests, Benji B and DJ Vadim having graced the decks on Wexford Street it's now time for Musician, Producer and DJ, Steve Cobby. Probably best known for being one half of Fila Brazillia from 1990 - 2006. Fila released 10 albums and produced over 70 remixes for the likes of Radiohead, Lamb, Black Uhuru and DJ Food. They called it a day in 2006 , leaving Cobby to go on and collaborate with his old label boss David "Pork" Brennand on The Cutler. Their self titled album was released to critical acclaim last year. Their new EP "Black Flag" was released last month on Steel Tiger. In May 2005 at the Brighton festival Cobby was invited to perform alongside Bill Nelson and Jah Wobble for Harold Budd's farewell concert. Always a great selector of music it's with great pleasure that we welcome Cobby to Solas to play alongside Mr Razor. Who incidentally collaborated with Fila Brazillia on "Doppleganger" that sold over 25,000 copies. As always with Soul@Solas the best things in life are FREE!
