Adult Cautioning Scheme

    Hi,

    Recently got cautioned under this scheme for a small bit of cannabis. Just wondering a few things about it.

    -Does this show up when you apply for visas to America, Canada etc.?
    -When your applying for a job and they want to do a Gardai background check does the adult caution show up and if ti does does it say for what?
    -It's held on the pulse system does this mean that i'm going to be stoped all the time now with this new anpr stuff?

    Sorry just to edit I was told by the guard in question that it WILL be delt with by means of an adult caution.

    Last time I checked there is no adult caution for cannabis............

    I thought so but that guard has told me numerous times that this is how he would be proceeding maybe they don't get many cases like this in the south I don't know. What would actually happen then?

    Yeah you cannot get an adult caution for any type of drugs incident.

    You have to got to court.

    If you show up to court neatly dressed and with a solicitor, and some money towards a charity you might get the probation act (depending on the judge and that you have no convictions already), which is basically a chance.

    No conviction in other words.

    Talk to a solicitor.
