I'd like to do this. I am employed though so I could only do evening work. PM me and I'll tell you what I do. Thanks, Soddy

both of you ,dont panic the world wont stop turning tomorrow, i need a plan drawn up, in the next few weeks, and it must go into great detail, now if evening work suits, or weekends, and when you complete it i have to bring it to my specailist friend, who may want it ajusted here and there, so you will have an idea at this stage what it will intail.

i have often drawn up plans before but not as detailed as this as it is for an 8 figure deal, and could end up being a major employer longterm, but i have to get everything right from the start.

so you both know a bit about projections, and future developments, and so on.

and inflation/deflation and so on, costing, and the likes,

roughly how long would it normally take either of you to do such a plan

Depends on information available on what exactly you're pitching for. Need a lot more detail to know what's involved and if i'm the right person for it. As i say, i'm out of action for a couple of weeks anyway. If there's that kind of money involved, you might be better off trying for someone more experienced. I get that you might not want to spend the money, but if the deal involves that kind of money....

yes i see what you mean , however it will be going trough a provisional inspection first before it gets to the right people, so there is room for error as the first attempt will be a trial run, and it can always be ammended

An 8 figure sum? I'm sorry but you don't look for help raising over 10mm Euro on a web forum and you most certainly don't get someone to do a business plan for free when there is that much money involved.

I would think that if your specialist likes your idea, he would be biting your arm off to do your business plan for you for free, with the aim of taking a nice percentage of your 10 million at the end of it.

    Hi

Sorry leitrim lad, but it dosent make sense to me either.

You are either penny wise and pound foolish or it is just not all that you are cracking it up to be.

    Either way, I'm sorry but I'm out:D

I wish you the best of luck with it though.

    Kind Regards

I agree that the OP would be better suited going professional, but he never mentioned or implied he was looking for a freebe. :D

Apologies Leitrim Lad & thank you for pointing that out to me Smgiff.

You did not say or imply that the job was free.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,013 ✭✭✭leitrim lad

who said anything about a freebe , i never got anything for free in my life, and an 8 figure sum could be over a 20 year period making it a 5 figure sum over a one year period

so what do you rekon, in or out,

it wasnt pointed at the forum market, it was an oppertunity for someone farmiliar to accountancy who may have a cashflow problem, at present, to earn themselves a weeks wages, and if the plan went correctly, they could end up in a full time position,

so think about it and come back to me, if not i will just have to go into that bloody city again, and advertise

This all sounds very strange. This guy doesn't even seem to have the basic math. 8 figure some over 20 years would be 500k per year. If tendering for a job of this magnitude, should be going to a professional with experience in tendering.
