Hi Im doing some revison, and looking at the formula for a scaler equation of a line.

    A(x-x0)+B(y-y0)+C(z-z0)=0

I realise this makes me sound like a complete dullard but I cant for the life of me rember what anything in the formula stands for. I know its pretty basic stuff. Ive checked my notes and Ive looked on line. But nothing. Can anyone help.

    [latex](A, B, C) = A\vec{i} + B\vec{j} + C\vec{k}[/latex] is a vector normal to the plane, [latex](x_0, y_0, z_0)[/latex] is any point in the plane and x, y and z are your variables.
