    Bring on the Bugs! :pac:

Personally, I'm going to wait until maybe next summer before I upgrade OS & Logic.

Really want to make sure all my favourite plugins etc.. have been well & truly updated.

I have heard that it is very nice but after carefully installing Win 7 on bootcamp I wont be rushing into another system change. If it ain't broke why fix it as they say.

Good thinking Batman. I too will avoid this until at least next summer. That being said I know of a few brave types who have been running PT8 on the beta versions without major hiccups.

On snow leopard you have the ability to choose wether to run in 32 or 64 bit
depending on your application. Surprisingly Logic 9 is not a 64bit app yet so it negates any need to upgrade for Logic 9 users, wierd as it is an Apple product.

This is where a laptop comes in handy.
My Macbook Pro is a clone of the studio Mac Pro so I always test updates before installing them on the main studio computer.
2 of my internal MP drives are clones too so I will update one of them and see how it goes.
64 bit will make the most of the 8GB of ram I have in it.
I will post next week and let you all know how it is with LP9.

Suppose it'll be an age before digidesign qualify this for PT8?
Would love to upgrade but had major headaches the last time I upgraded OS.

Just updated my macbook for the craic. PT 8 doesn't work. It gets as far as the session dialogue (open session/new session etc...) and won't go any further. It freezes on loading DAE.

Also Ableton Live doesn't seem to work either.

Not a big deal cos I'm still running leopard on my main machine but just thought i'd share in case anybody else was gonna try it.
