About time. There's another sequel out a year in japan as well. Probably another one as well.

Recommend waiting for Europa version, as it usually has the least errors - remember the US version of Curious Village had some silly puzzles and others that were downright wrong supposedly. Also because of cultural differences between the Us, Jap, and Eu some puzzles seemed to be tweaked around for us Yo-Yo's to comprehend better, some are left out with Yo-Yo specific replacements included :)

It'll be worth the wait, unfortunately, bar some unexpected awful reviews or something Scribblenauts is a Go for First Launch!:D

If this doesn't have an EU release by the time I'm in the states I'm buying it there :D

at least they are a bit quicker off the mark with the euro version this time
1 month after US rather than 9 months or so with the first one!!

maybe not so many changes this time as a result ???

Yeah I REALLY don't want to do that though.

Its like the impossible quiz thing, I won't google that either

Picked this up the other day and enjoying it so far. Not too far into it but already the story is captivating. Gameplay is much the same, with a few new features similar to the painting and robot dog in the first one and one new feature. Just curious how they're going to explain
why everyone is obsessed with puzzles again

    Im enjoying it so far.

There is one puzzle i feel a little cheated by though.
Its the one with the funny money and the shoe store

The question clearly asks what is the shopkeeper down in $ as a result of the transaction:

I think the answer should be as follows:

he took a fake note for 50 and exchanged it with next door, without giving the woman change he is now up 50

he gives the woman 20 change and a pair of shoes , but in terms of $ he is still up 30

he then gives next door back 50 , so now in total he is down $20 and a pair of shoes, but the answer is $50

I did the same at first although I think the answer is reasonable.
Even then it should really be the $20 change and the cost price of the shoes, not the sale price

Is anyone finding any problems with the US version?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 444 ✭✭fortuneg

I'm about 30 puzzles in, with maybe 5 left unsolved & I haven't come across any problems.
Love this series, just went back with the code from the new game to unlock the hidden door from the first game & feel a little cheated
it's just a few crappy concept art slides that they've shown me already.

At least the first hidden section in the new game is a new puzzle.

I don't think this is out in Ireland yet. I'll buy it for my niece when it comes out but i got the ROM & emulated it and the mouths are way off. It's buggy and reset my game. Annoyed so not gonna bother until it comes out.

    Anyone else find this?

Finished the story yesterday, was a little disappointed with the ending but there's a huge amount of extras on this one (bonus rooms open up depending on your final points tally, downloadable puzzles, etc...) that'll keep me busy for some time to come.

Quality game and looking forward to the sequel already which looks like it will be about
    a time machine

Got this Fri evening, and I've spent the entire weekend on it. Almost identical to the previous game - equally head-wrecking and equally enjoyable....however, to prevent it becoming boring the next version needs some fresh ideas.

Now I'm wondering if I missed something. Got 153 puzzles, are there more? Didn't notice any thing about it depending on points total
